Shrink the file — images are resized and re-encoded, and the document is re-saved compactly. Everything happens in this browser — the file itself never leaves your device.

What it does
Most of the weight in a large PDF is its images, so that is what Folio works on: pictures are resized and re-encoded until the file comes down, and the text stays sharp because text is not touched. You see the new size before you commit, and you can keep the original alongside the smaller copy.
This tool runs entirely inside your browser tab. The file never leaves your machine, there is nothing to sign up for, and nothing you download carries a watermark.
